Impact Acoustic is a Swiss manufacturer of acoustic solutions and materials engineered for performance and circular design. Their acoustic wall covering collection brings together 22 distinct designs—from the newly added Plaid, Tapis, and Riftcut to established panels including Vertigo, Contour, Loop, Gatsby, and Maze—each fabricated primarily from ARCHISONIC® Felt, a 100% PET material with a minimum 60% post-consumer recycled content that is Cradle to Cradle Certified™ and LEED v4 compliant.

Geometric designs—including Kingscross, Prisma, Facet, Maze, Gatsby, and Maya—work with intersecting lines, angular cutouts, and repeating patterns to add visual structure and depth to wall surfaces. Each can be arranged continuously or in alternating configurations to suit different spatial scales and moods.
Organic designs such as Contour and Loop use algorithmically generated curves and soft bends to create continuous movement across large installations. Their fluid character makes them well-suited to hospitality, corporate, and institutional environments where visual warmth and dynamism are priorities.
Linear and directional panels—Vertigo, Vertigo Irregular, Vertigo Fine, Vertigo Wide, Flow, and Stream—offer v-cut or channel profiles that read as textural fields at a distance and reveal precise surface detail up close. Vertigo Irregular introduces additional creative flexibility by allowing on-site cutting and non-repeating configurations.
Quieter, more architectural profiles suited to backgrounds rather than feature walls include Fylo, Pass, Bau, Vela, Fon, Cottage, and Tapis. These panels complement rather than compete with other interior elements, providing acoustic treatment without imposing on the overall design scheme.
Plaid, newly added to the collection, brings a textile-inspired grid character to the range—a structured, tactile surface that references woven fabric. Riftcut, also new, introduces a printed wood-veneer finish developed in collaboration with German veneer specialists Schotten & Hansen and Swiss designer Ina Rinderknecht, offering a warm, natural aesthetic with the acoustic performance of ARCHISONIC® Felt.
Material and Performance
All panels in the collection share the same core material credentials: ARCHISONIC® Felt composed of 100% PET with a minimum 60% post-consumer content, equivalent to 53 recycled plastic bottles per square meter at 12 mm thickness. The material meets fire standards, including DIN EN 13501-1 (B-s1, d0), ASTM E-84 Class A, and VOC emission A+, and is Cradle to Cradle Certified™. Most designs are available across the full 45-color ARCHISONIC® Felt palette, with select panels also offered in the 33-finish Riftcut range. Panel dimensions, thickness, and fixing methods vary by design; bespoke sizing is available across the collection through Impact Acoustic's Design Studio.
