More about this product

Impact Acoustic is a Swiss manufacturer of acoustic solutions and materials engineered for performance and circular design. Custom ARCHISONIC® Felt ceiling panels and Vertigo wall coverings from Impact Acoustic were used in a private penthouse in the Swiss Alps, a luxury residential project combining Alpine and Asian design influences.

The penthouse was conceptualized by Antje Schumann Architektur GmbH and realized by Jaeggi Architekten, with installation carried out by Messner GmbH. Designed as a year-round retreat, the interior draws equally on Alpine materiality and Asian spatial sensibility—pairing natural wood, clean whites, and refined detailing to create an environment suited to both winter stays and summer visits. The brief demanded materials of the highest quality throughout, with acoustic performance integrated into the design without compromising the residential character of the space.

Custom ARCHISONIC® Felt ceiling panels in Snow White were installed as the ceiling base, set against classic wooden rafters that reinforce the Alpine reference within the interior. Vertigo wall coverings in Raven were applied across key rooms, their deep V-cut surface profile introducing a quiet rhythm and visual balance to the refined palette. The contrast between the crisp white ceiling and the dark, directional wall treatment creates a considered interplay of tone and texture, while both products contribute acoustic absorption suited to a high-end residential environment.
