More about this product

Europerfil develops and manufactures metal profiles, sandwich panels, and construction systems for building envelopes. The company offers a wide range of steel and metal cladding solutions designed for use across diverse building typologies, focusing on performance, durability, and architectural integration.

Europerfil's Euromodul 44 metal profile was applied in the Acesur Oil Mill and Oleotourism Center in the municipality of Jabalquinto, in the providence of Jaén, a region internationally recognized for olive oil production. Promoted by Aceites del Sur – COOSUR, S.A., the project combines industrial infrastructure with a visitor-oriented program, integrating production, education, and tourism within a single architectural complex. Also, contributes to Jaén’s recognition as a global center for olive oil, reinforcing the cultural identity of the region and promoting sustainable tourism.

Product Application

Designed by Mollinedo Arquitectura, the building is organized as a system of modular hexagonal volumes arranged at different heights. This configuration allows the complex to adapt to diverse functional requirements, including processing areas, offices, storage, and spaces dedicated to oleo-tourism activities such as guided tours, tastings, and educational events. Visitors can follow the entire production process, from olive reception to bottling, creating an educational and immersive experience. The modular layout also facilitates internal circulation, provides visual connections between programs, and introduces patios that improve natural lighting and spatial orientation.

Product Application

The architectural envelope plays a central role in defining the identity of the project. The Euromodul 44 metal profile, from Europerfil, was used both in the roof system and across most of the façade. In its solid version, it covers the main roof surfaces, while the perforated version is applied to façade areas, allowing controlled permeability of light and ventilation. The trapezoidal geometry of the profile contributes to structural rigidity and enables large continuous surfaces with reduced need for secondary support.

The selected color, Oro 6995 and Diamante Optim coating, evokes the tone of olive oil and reinforces the conceptual link between architecture and production. This chromatic treatment allows the building to stand out within its rural context while maintaining a coherent relationship with the surrounding landscape.

Product Application

From a technical perspective, the Euromodul 44 profile contributes to the overall performance of the building envelope, supporting a balance between industrial requirements and environmental control. Its use enables large-span surfaces with a consistent visual identity, while its perforation helps to regulate the climate performance of the complex. The system also contributes to energy efficiency by optimizing insulation and allowing controlled natural ventilation in specific areas.

Product Application

Beyond its industrial function, the project acts as a reference for contemporary oleotourism architecture. It supports new forms of interaction between visitors and production processes, contributing to the cultural and economic development of the region. The building also incorporates sustainability strategies focused on efficiency, resource optimization, and responsible tourism, positioning the complex as a model for future agro-industrial facilities.
