Acoustic Solutions in Piazza Vrdnik Restaurant | Impact Acoustic

Impact Acoustic is a Swiss manufacturer of acoustic solutions and materials engineered for performance and circular design. Bespoke ARCHISONIC® Felt acoustic treatments from Impact Acoustic were used in Piazza Vrdnik, a restaurant located in Vrdnik, Serbia.

Piazza Vrdnik was designed by Serbian studio Vasona d.o.o. with a concept rooted in the rhythmic movement of water. Every design decision in the space—from the ceiling geometry to the surface materiality—was guided by the visual language of waves, creating an immersive interior environment where the natural world serves as both aesthetic reference and spatial mood. The brief called for acoustic treatment that would integrate seamlessly into this design philosophy rather than interrupt it, contributing to a dining atmosphere where conversation and comfort could coexist with the visual character of the space.

ARCHISONIC® Felt was specified as the acoustic material throughout Piazza Vrdnik, shaped and installed in a bespoke configuration developed in collaboration with Impact Acoustic's Design Studio. The wave-form geometry of the installation echoes the broader design concept, with the material's surface texture and color contributing to the warm, enveloping atmosphere of the dining space. As a recycled PET material, ARCHISONIC® Felt is also aligned with the project's attention to considered, quality-led specification at every level of the interior.
