Impact Acoustic is a Swiss manufacturer of acoustic solutions and materials engineered for performance and circular design. They present Palladio, a volumetric acoustic wall covering fabricated from ARCHISONIC® Felt using Swiss 3D printing technology. Inspired by the harmony and symmetry of Palladian architecture, Palladio's sculpted fluted surface brings a three-dimensional profile to interior walls while delivering high-performance sound absorption.
Form and Construction
Palladio is produced through a unique folding technique that creates a 55 mm deep three-dimensional profile from 12 mm ARCHISONIC® Felt. The resulting fluted surface adds significant visual weight and rhythm to vertical surfaces without the need for heavy construction. Each panel measures 762 x 2800 mm, making it suited to floor-to-ceiling applications in lobbies, corridors, meeting rooms, and other large interior volumes.
The concealed air chambers formed within the folds are central to the product's acoustic performance. By trapping air within the geometry of the panel, Palladio achieves an NRC of 0.75—substantially higher than flat-panel alternatives of equivalent material thickness.
Material and Color
The panel is fabricated from ARCHISONIC® Felt, a 100% PET material with a minimum 60% post-consumer content, equivalent to 53 recycled plastic bottles per square meter. It carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, Cradle to Cradle Certified™ status, and qualifies for LEED v4 VOC emission credits. Palladio is available across the full 45-color ARCHISONIC® Felt palette as well as the 33-finish ARCHISONIC® Riftcut range, which offers printed wood-veneer aesthetics developed in collaboration with Schotten & Hansen and designer Ina Rinderknecht. Note that slight color and surface variations are an inherent characteristic of the recycled fiber content; physical samples are recommended for color verification.
