Pine Wood Finishes at DentalNova Clinic | Siero Lam

Siero Lam is a Spanish producer of wood products and compounds for construction, dedicated to distributing sustainable timber solutions. Siero Lam collaborated in the refurbishment of the Dentalnova dental clinic, supplying laminated pine wood and wood cladding solutions for interior and exterior architectural applications.

Developed together with Mola Arquitectura, the project reinterprets the clinic as a welcoming and sensitive environment, where material selection plays a central role in comfort, functionality, and identity.

From the outset, the refurbishment was conceived as an intervention that respected the legacy of the existing premises. Each architectural element and piece of furniture was custom-designed, responding both to the historical value of the space and to the contemporary requirements of safety, performance, and comfort that define the client's philosophy.

A deliberate material strategy guided the project, with local pine wood playing a leading role as a natural, versatile resource aligned with principles of bio-construction. Applied across multiple layers of the clinic, the timber elements introduce warmth and spatial continuity while supporting a calm and human-scaled healthcare environment.

For this intervention, Siero Lam supplied glulam boards and laminated pine profiles used in cladding, exterior carpentry, cabinetry, bespoke furniture, and interior finishes. Laminated wood profiles were applied with pigmented lasurado finishes for exterior elements and transparent matte finishes indoors, while interior cabinets were designed as systems of repetitive pine slats acting as dynamic privacy filters.

Additional uses included custom-made counters, benches, shelving, and pine flooring and wall cladding in living areas, reinforcing the relationship between natural materials and wellbeing. These elements form part of a broader ecological approach that also integrates stone, natural light, and vegetation organized around a rear courtyard.
