The Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2019, which Opening Week takes place from September 11-15 2019 announces Open Call for International Architecture Schools‘ Exhibition ‘‘Terribly Beautiful‘‘ that is part of TAB 2019 Main Programme and targets current students, practicing architects and everyone else who has ever studied in architecture school.
TAB 2019 Architecture Schools' Exhibition is curated by three young Estonian architects: Merilin Kaup, Margus Tammik and Ulla Alla. Curators are expecting projects that hide a sinuous process and tell a story in which they can see author’s state of mind, personality and value systems.
Disruptive Design is a three-part design competition that seeks to address the challenges associated with designing and building affordable, owner-occupied housing.
Architects, designers, students, and those invested in urban development are invited to submit their speculative ideas for an owner-occupied housing development incorporating a flexible architectural solution that encourages wealth-building through homeownership and entrepreneurship. The competition will conclude with an occupant/buyer-ready prototype of the winning design.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro announces the concept design competition for staging the exhibition of the National pavilion of Montenegro at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. Tamayouz Excellence Award launched the “Baghdad Design Centre,” an international architectural competition to transform the current unused site of the Old Governorate Building into the Baghdad Design Centre in the city's Cultural District; Al-Rusafa.
