The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Architects (NLAA) is hosting Architecture Week from October 5 to October 11, 2019. This year will mark the third edition of Architecture Week for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The NL Architecture Week includes many activities that promote architecture and create a venue to engage the public in a discussion about the future of our built environment.

This exhibition includes a full-scale ramp installation based on the architect’s own oblique apartment interior, and presents a selection of never before seen original drawings and sketches, as well as photographs of iconic projects and publications on Parent's work.
Days of Oris is an international architecture convention organised by Oris magazine and the Oris House of Architecture. The two-day event has been held since 2001. It presents the most significant names of the architectural and cultural scene and gathers more than 2000 visitors every year. Days of Oris 19 will be held in Zagreb from 19 to 20 October 2019, at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.

The BLL Awards for Architecture & Design comes from “Bringing light to life” which is the slogan of VELUX world brand for roof windows, which distribute daylight and fresh air into buildings through the roof. The idea of the Awards is to popularize good architecture, from architects and designers across countries in the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) region, which demonstrates the effective distribution of daylight into buildings and the utilization of the space under the roof elements. It is a platform to showcase the work and products of architects and designers to a global audience. This year is the 6th edition of the BLL Awards, and is now open for entries. Seven countries from the CEE region are included – Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Turkey.
