Family Greenhouse / RicharDavidArchitekti

Concept. This project has three stages. The first one was the reconstruction of their old house. We did some cost calculations and propose them to build a new house with half volume and without any compromises.

Residence in Megara / Tense Architecture Network

The house is a frugal yet decisive answer to the need for a family shelter in the midst of a rather recluse site. It is articulated through the creation of two interior courtyards, while the interconnection of its open and closed spaces is served by two juxtaposed corridors -a glass-roofed and an open-air one. Its courtyards and living spaces remain inscribed in an austere, yet perforated triangle. Two of its trapezoid, inclined sides retain a deliberate protective massiveness while the third, rectilinear one opens up to the magnetic view of the opposite mountain.

The Ger Innovation Hub / Rural Urban Framework + The University of Hong Kong

The ger districts of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, are sprawling settlements comprised of traditional nomadic felt tents, or gers, and self-built brick homes. These districts have no running water or sewage systems and in the extreme winter, with temperatures reaching -40 °C, coal is the main source of heat, resulting in debilitating air pollution.

Conservatory for Music & Ballet / OFIS Architects

Ljubljana's Conservatory of Music and Ballet is one of the oldest music schools in Slovenia, dating back to 1919. Located in the immediate proximity of many historical buildings and other important monuments, the overall renovation aimed to improve the existing program and some technical features of the school's facilities, while preserving the original volume and structure.

House for Marebito / VUILD

VUILD completed a digitally fabricated house, the first attempt for the future that allows anyone to build it anywhere.

The White Tower House / Dosarchitects

The White Tower house is located in Gagliano del Capo, a quiet village in the heart of Salento, the southernmost region of Apulia that stretches at the “heel of Italian boot” in south-eastern Italy. Aiming to escape the hustle and bustle of their London city life, their vision was to create a haven of tranquillity for their family in a place they most love: Salento. Having spent years searching for the ideal place, Lorenzo and Allegra discovered a small plot of land in Gagliano del Capo, a small white town minutes away from the Adriatic coast.

Arkadia / Breathe Architecture + DKO

Arkadia started as a series of considerations that questioned the nature of multi-residential development in Australia;

Loft Essencial / Cacau Ribeiro Interiores

The essential loft was created for the CASACOR 2019 and its purpose was to offer a living área for the family to share happy moments. It was made to be comfortable, meaningful, and warm.

The Last House / Arnau estudi d'arquitectura

After the collapse of the old priest's house in the sixties, it was decided to build a new house based on the remaining walls. The need to use that new structure as storage left the inside of the house unbuilt. Our project of rebuilding and completing an unused structure as a new house starts out on this premise.

The Wooden Villa / Nicolas Dahan

“A space to live and move within the pine forest”. With this 250m2 family home, the French architect Nicolas Dahan signs a see-through haven inviting the beauty of its surrounding environment inside, which is seamlessly built using expert wood engineering techniques. The floor and the ceiling mirror each other’s dimensions, breaking down all notions of hierarchy. Eyesight glides between pine trees and interior perspectives, feet wander with ease from the warm sand outside onto the supple okoume wood flooring indoors.

Mikuni Izukogen Restaurant / Kengo Kuma and Associates

We designed a "suspended" restaurant overlooking the Sagami Bay on the cliffs of the Izu Peninsula. Japanese terrain is complex, and various methods have been invented to reconcile terrain with architecture.

Extension in Burned Wood Shou Sugi Ban / Clément Bacle Architecte

Extension of a single house in burned wood Shou Sugi Ban. Design of three rooms spread over three levels. This extension takes place on an old building cut from the house already by a pedestrian dead end.

T3 House / CUBO design architect

This house was designed for an international couple based in Japan, France, and the United States – a French artist and his Japanese wife – who are keenly interested in the aesthetic of Japanese gardens, as well as Japanese culture and architecture. The house is nestled quietly atop a hill in the historic Japanese city of Kamakura, a wonderfully scenic location overlooking the Shonan coastline, with distant views of Japan’s iconic peak of Mount Fuji.

Bosque Apartment Intervention / Aquiles Jarrín

The intervention was carried out in a modern 112 m2 apartment from the 70s, located in the Historic Center of Quito.

Mountain & Sea Art Museum / gad

The art museum, situated in the west of Kunming City, is an important public building in the Cuifeng Ecological Park. The meaning of “Mountain & Sea” comes from its position, keeping away from the hustle and bustle of the city and appearing vividly on the mountain, as well as from its location at the north end of the Dianchi Lake system, with excellent landscape resources, and the city, water and mountains are all included in the sight. The strong site characteristics also contribute to the special art space.

Chongming Island café Design / Origin Architecture

There are a lot of small villages left from the early cultivation in Chongming Island. Most of them have being quiet for years. Houses are abandoned and warehouses are empty recently. By the renovation of urban development of Shanghai, these nature surrounded and long quiet houses have the new function.

Adventurous Global School / Orient Occident Atelier

The school transforms the construction site itself into a learning kit. The building is not only a traditional lecture space but a proactive space for learning design, construction, and spatial creativity. During construction, students will take part in some manageable design. Local kids explore new uses of space by action. They climb the "Griddy" construction as though it's a jungle gym.

Ribas Winery Extension / Rafael Moneo + Canals Moneo Arquitectos

Together with Rafael Moneo, Clara Moneo and Valerio Canals (Canals Moneo arquitectos) has expanded the Bodega Ribas, a winery in Consell, Mallorca, which, as part of the old Ca’n Ribas listed stately home from the 18th century has been preserved intact to date, with its original historic barrel cellar and winemaking warehouse.
