Acoustic Panels 12/24mm | Impact Acoustic

Impact Acoustic is a Swiss manufacturer of acoustic solutions and materials engineered for performance and circular design. They offer ARCHISONIC® Felt semi-finished panels in 12 mm and 24 mm thicknesses as a raw material format for custom acoustic applications. Supplied in large-format sheets, the panels give designers, fabricators, and contractors direct access to ARCHISONIC® Felt for bespoke cutting, shaping, and integration into project-specific solutions.

Formats and Dimensions
The 12 mm panel measures 1200 x 2800 mm and is suited to lightweight wall coverings, custom tiles, and surface applications where a thinner profile is sufficient. The 24 mm panel measures 1800 x 2400 mm and is the preferred format for applications requiring higher acoustic performance, greater structural depth, or compatibility with CNC fabrication. Both formats are available in the full 45-color ARCHISONIC® Felt palette and can be specified in custom dimensions through Impact Acoustic's Design Studio.

Acoustic Performance
At 12 mm with no air gap, the panels achieve αw = 0.30 per DIN ISO 11654. The 24 mm format delivers substantially higher absorption: αw = 0.55 with no air gap, rising to αw = 0.65 at 50 mm, αw = 0.90 at 100 mm, and αw = 0.95 at 200 mm or greater air gap.

Material
Both panel formats are fabricated from ARCHISONIC® Felt—100% PET with a minimum 60% post-consumer content, equivalent to 53 recycled plastic bottles per square meter at 12 mm and 88 at 24 mm. The material is Cradle to Cradle Certified™ and qualifies for LEED v4 VOC emission credits. Fire rating is DIN EN 13501-1 (B-s1, d0) and ASTM E-84 Class A. Color fastness is rated Grade 6 per EN ISO 105-B02. Slight color and surface variations are inherent to the recycled fiber content; physical samples are recommended for color verification.
