Various authors such as Michel Foucault, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and contemporary thinkers Marina Garcés and Judith Butler have brought the body to the forefront of global philosophical discussions. This has gradually permeated different disciplines where the body is the focus of study, and even some where this relationship seems less obvious.

One of the most significant entry points for developing this approach is the Theory of the *Dérive* by French philosopher Guy Debord. While it does not directly address architecture, it clarifies what we mean when we say that the body is not merely an object confined within the limits of the skin, moving according to predefined guidelines, but rather a space that houses many other spaces and experiences.
