Given its diverse climate and geography, Mexico's wine production has steadily gained recognition in states such as Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Guanajuato, Nuevo León, Puebla, Querétaro, Sonora, and Zacatecas. In these regions, vineyards are increasingly in the spotlight, alongside wine festivals and curated experiences that offer visitors an immersive look into the various stages of production.

While Baja California accounts for 80% of national wine production, there is a growing interest in the aforementioned states to dedicate spaces that connect visitors with the winemaking process, while allowing them to experience and contemplate the surrounding landscape that is integral to the production itself. Consequently, architects such as graciastudio, CCA, Serrano Monjaraz Arquitectos, TAC Taller de Arquitectura Contextual, and Fernanda Reyes have designed facilities to help visitors familiarize themselves with Mexican wine production. Below, we feature seven examples and their floor plans.
