After receiving more than 1,500 films for the fourth edition of the "The City is..." competition at the Architecture Film Festival Santiago (Arqfilmfest), taking place from October 25 to 28, the event's organizing team has selected 34 audiovisual productions to compete in various categories: documentary, fiction, experimental, and architectural documentation.

The selection focuses on themes such as the documentation of building and city architecture, or processes of urban change—in some cases experimental, and in others creating an intersection with art installation. New and recurring themes also emerge, such as sustainability, migration, heritage, home, and community.
