Connolly's of Leap is a venue which promotes all types of music; from traditional Irish folk music, to the most avant-garde electronic music of today. BACKGROUND Rapid urban growth and growing inequality has created a global crisis in housing that increasingly segregates the rich from the poor. Though not fully understood, there is a clear and parallel relationship between the size of a city and its level of socio-economic disparity: the larger the city, the less equal it tends to be. Physical and social segregation, which both reflects and perpetuates socio-economic disparity within a city, is a growing concern in cities worldwide - including Mumbai. The long-term success of a city depends on the collective well-being of all its inhabitants. To what extent can architecture support social inclusion and break down spatial segregation within the megacity?

The Pape Nature Park in the south west region of Latvia is a birdwatching paradise, and home to some of the region’s most unique and majestic species found in the wild. In addition to being a home for some 50,000 migratory birds each year, the Pape Nature Park is now renowned for its reintroduction of several large herbivore species into the wild. Most notably was the reintroduction of wild horses, who had been driven from the area by human agriculture and settlements.

Be it Bilbo Baggins’ house in The Hobbit, or Tony Stark‘s stunning Malibu home in the Iron Man; be it the solitary Falling Water amidst the nature by Frank Llyod Wright, or a house in a beautiful European town like Mykonos; there is a lot of great architecture when it comes to houses. The idea for the competition arose out of a simple discussion in an auto-rickshaw when two architects were discussing their ‘dream houses’.

Park Avenue, one of the world’s premiere thoroughfares, is traditionally known for its tall buildings that are home to Fortune 500 companies. The medians of Park Avenue, or the “centerlines,” are traditionally characterized by plantings and periodic sculpture installations. Park Avenue medians represent a traditional element of New York City but also provide an opportunity for reinvention. Other areas of New York City, such as the High Line, have successfully transformed into an exciting destination for city dwellers and visitors alike.
The purpose of the Competition is to select the best Investment design located in the vicinity of the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin and Park in Żelazowa Wola. The conceptual architectural design must take into account the spatial relationship with the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin, which is the focal point of the historic park surrounding it, in particular it must harmonize with the function of the site, i.e. the Park-Memorial created in the 20’s and 30’s of the 20th century to commemorate the great artist.
