Andrea Maffei Architects has unveiled their entry for the Redemptoris Mater Church competition to design a new church complex in Cinisi, Italy. The International Summer School "The City and the Water. Architecture, arts and self-construction experiences: the regeneration of the Two Lakes artisan area in Pietrasanta" is going to start. The organizers of the Summer School are the University of Pisa, in particular the Master Degree Course in Architectural Engineering (DESTeC, School of Engineering), the CAV Visual Arts Center and the Municipality of Pietrasanta, with the contribution of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca.

La Biennale di Venezia has launched a call for proposals for the Collateral Events of 2016. Searching for original exhibitions, installations and/or symposiums that will run alongside the 15th International Architecture Exhibition, the call is restricted to non-profit public or private institutions. All proposals must be "meaningful in relation" to the Exhibition's theme. Selection will be contingent on the approval of Artistic Director Alejandro Aravena and the Board of the Biennale. All Collateral Events will be autonomously organized outside the institutional venues of La Biennale (Giardini and Arsenale). Submit your ideas HERE by October 30, 2015.

The Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) is hosting an open call for proposals for the Pavilion of Turkey's exhibition at the 2016 Venice Biennale.
