Lunawood ThermoWood® battens were used in a private apartment designed by DO Architects in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Completed in 2018, the project explores the relationship between industrial and natural materials through a residential interior concept that combines exposed concrete surfaces with warm wood finishes. The design strategy focuses on creating a balanced living environment where durable materials and natural textures contribute to spatial comfort and everyday functionality.

In this apartment, Luna SHP 42 × 42 profiles were installed as interior wall and ceiling elements to introduce visual warmth and material contrast within the predominantly concrete structure. The integration of wood surfaces alongside large glazed openings supports daylight distribution throughout the interior while reinforcing a consistent material language across the living spaces.

The use of Lunawood ThermoWood® contributes to dimensional stability and reliability in interior applications, enabling precise installation and long-term performance.

The material palette emphasizes the coexistence of urban and natural references within a compact residential setting. Concrete surfaces establish a durable architectural framework, while wood cladding softens the interior atmosphere and defines key spatial zones.
