"Xingu: Contacts", an exhibition curated by Takumã Kuikuro and Guilherme Freitas, proposes a review of the history of images of Xingu (indigenous territory near the Xingu River) by establishing dialogues between photographs and films made by non-indigenous people since the 19th century and the current production of indigenous filmmakers, artists, and communicators, who take the lead of the images by narrating their own stories.
