CP Kukreja Architects' Exhibition at London Festival of Architecture to Explore Five Decades of India's Built Environment

CP Kukreja Architects is all set to open their exhibition ‘Five Decades of India’s Built Environment’ on June 24th at The Lalit in London, UK. Part of the London Festival of Architecture 2022 programme, the exhibition will take visitors on a journey through five decades of the evolution of India’s architectural landscape through the lens of the leading Indian architecture and design practice. By presenting a wide array of projects across timelines, the exhibit will deconstruct histories, present insights, and highlight bold, progressive architecture critical to the past, present and future of India and its people.

CP Kukreja Architects is the first and only Indian architecture firm to be invited to present an independent exhibit at LFA, London’s foremost celebration of architecture and city-making. CPKA was founded in 1969 by the Late CP Kukreja, who was at the forefront of India’s modern architecture movement in the 1970s and 80s along with contemporaries such as Charles Correa and Raj Rewal. The firm is currently helmed by Dikshu Kukreja, who is spearheading sustainability and innovation through the firm’s latest projects. The practice has played a pivotal role in establishing a distinctive identity for the built environment of a post-independent India and has completed over 1000 projects across scales and typologies till date.
