Located in Itupeva, about 70 kilometers from the capital, Praia da Grama, translated as ''Grass beach'' is a kind of oasis within the countryside landscape of São Paulo: a surfing wave pool of about 26,000 m² and a line of sand equivalent to 1.5 km. It is a complex of varied blocks, linked by the same architectural premises and materialities, but with different characteristics and vocations, besides of having their own specific shapes. The project was developed from the radial alignment of the pool which, to produce its perfect impulses, carries rigid geometry and technical standards. The design is then shaped around the fan, distributed in a radial format, serving at the same time as an amphitheater and also a balcony for contemplation of the wave.
