RISE Africa, an inventive new virtual festival, aims to highlight and activate urban innovation in African cities.
Running from 24-29th May 2021, the RISE Africa Urban Action Festival will bring together 198 of ICLEI Africa’s member cities and their subnational and local governments, and is poised to be a pivotal moment for African-driven innovation.
The festival is planned around celebrating Africa Day, 25 May, and this year’s theme is NEXT URBAN CHAMPIONS*.
