Call for international workshop Metaform is now officially open till October 1st, 2020. The event will take place from 19th till the 30th of October 2020 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The workshop is held in the frames of the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial (co-funded by Creative Europe) and in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation Tbilisi Office - South Caucasus Region. Students and professionals from around the world are invited to participate in the workshop. Participation is free and possible by physical presence as well as online.
Lecture Series by internationally prominent architects, historians, and artists will create a framework to rediscover the context of Tbilisi and understand its architectural, urban, political, and socio-economic characteristics. Through formal reading and other methods of analytical thinking in architecture, students will produce drawings that will be published and exhibited on October 30th in the Former Archaeological Museum, Tbilisi and online.
