Text description provided by the architects. Asked to combine two middle-sized apartments into one family dwelling, brazilian Estúdio Chão designed an open space with bare concrete structures. When breaking the original walls of the building, the cantilevered structures found soon became one of the most important aspects of the space. All of the gypsum ceilings were removed, leaving the space as empty as it could be.
