The BSR is delighted to announce that the competition is now open for a Scholars' Prize in Architecture. This is an exciting and valuable opportunity for an early-career architect or post-Part II student of architecture to spend three months in Rome (January-March 2017), and be a member of a vibrant residential community of architects, artists and researchers in the humanities and social sciences.
The winner is provided with accommodation in a residential studio, board and a research grant of £700 per month. They are also expected to take an interest in the BSR' s active and vibrant programme of lectures, events and exhibitions; and in particular the BSR' s architecture program me, 'Meeting Architecture 111. Fragments'. The winner will pursue and complete a creative, intellectually coherent and focused architectural project, of their own choosing, based on the city of Rome or its environs.
