Praksis Achitects has recently won the invited competition for a new architectural expression to Camp Hverringe on North Fyn, Denmark. The contest was organized by Hverringe Estate who owns the five star campsite Camp Hverringe. Especially shaping the future of the camping cabin was a main goal for the competition. Praksis Architects worked with a concept where it is possible to have a large variation in hytternes expression and color schemes, without compromising on a common sense construction technology. More images and architects’ description after the break.

The program was to design a small cabin at 30 m2 that should have a modern feel to it, but at the same time it should be designed I respect for the nature. 40 cabins are to be build , along with a handful of service buildings. The cabins are all simple constructed, but there are all different from each other.
