What is Nature? Is it real or man-made? As a possible answer to these questions, Hataarvo Architects believe nature is the most interesting thing for this project, and that all of nature is interfered with each other. Therefore, they have proposed a concept as ‘constructed nature’ which means neither real or man-made, but only construction. More images and architects’ description after the break.

The beauty nature holds needs more void to be free. The original site was constructed with varied beautiful artifacts, but now we need to build an art museum with a huge volume here. So our strategy is ‘making more void for the beauty’, and put functional spaces in the center of the art museum. Therefore, the ground floor will be opened to the surroundings and more void spaces will occupy the peripheries of the building for the museum.
