
The Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) and the A10 new European architecture magazine are launching the Bakema Fellowship 2011/2012. This fellowship is a grant of €10,000 for research, through design, at the cutting-edge of architecture, technology and society. The deadline for applications is 16 October 2011. Applications should somehow coincide with the NAI’s ‘Architecture of Consequence’ innovation agenda. The grant is intended for pioneering research which can open up novel perspectives on design, use and perception of the built environment. The entries will be assessed on the basis of the study’s anticipated significance for the development and understanding of contemporary architecture and the built environment.
