CVDB Arquitectos has shared with us their proposal for the Oeiras Forum in Oeiras Portugal. Follow after the break for additional images and a brief narrative from the architects.
Architecture and technology have always evolved in an interactive way. The project for the Oeiras Forum consists in a dark ash exposed concrete plinth with glazed surfaces where the cultural public areas are located and a suspended space-frame metal structure building, in glass with metal fins providing sun control, where the municipality community services areas are located. The project has a central atrium that connects all the different spaces. The internal spaces are organized to provide for and climate comfort for its users.
