Architectural competition for the design and supervision of the construction of the project “Limassol Arts Centre”

Competition description
The competition aims to create a contemporary, flexible, and sustainable cultural facility ("Limassol Arts Centre") as a strategic pillar of the Limassol Cultural Strategy 2024–2034. The objective is to create a contemporary cultural facility that meaningfully responds to the actual needs of the artistic community, expressing a clear, timeless, and recognizable architectural identity. It is envisioned as an open, accessible, and dynamic organization capable of supporting the full spectrum of cultural activity – from production, research, experimentation, and collaboration to artist residencies, digital arts, and public participation.

To meet these needs, the building program of the Centre includes social and public spaces, performance and event venues, spaces for learning, education and creative production, artist residency facilities, as well as the necessary infrastructure for administration, management, auxiliary facilities, vehicle access, and parking.
