IE School of Architecture & Design (IE University) presents a lecture by Mexican architect Rozana Montiel as part of the School's COMMON(S) 2026-27 Lecture Series. Montiel's lecture is organized in collaboration with Fundación Casa de México and Fundación Monumental México.
Rozana Montiel's practice is known for a socially engaged, community-centered approach to architecture, with a particular focus on public space, participatory design and the transformation of existing environments. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice, São Paulo and Rotterdam Biennials, and has received distinctions such as the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, the Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture and the Emerging Voices Award from The Architectural League of New York.
