Text description provided by the architects. The FUSP - Fundação da Universidade de São Paulo has renovated its headquarters by utilizing part of its existing buildings and adding a new volume. The project faced the challenge of organically and harmoniously integrating the new and existing structures into a single complex, considering the specific characteristics of each part and some key limitations imposed by long-standing land subdivision regulations established by the original developer of the area.
