Concept - The city of Montevideo is undergoing a major transformation driven by Law 18795, the Social Interest Housing Law. Within this context, Jardines del Cordón is framed as a renovation and expansion project that houses 9 housing units grouped around a standard 1920 house in the Cordón neighborhood. The economic viability of private investment, preexistence, and public regulations (IM, ANV, DNC, etc.) are some of the pieces that the project attempts to unite into a coherent whole.
