The Alana Institute is an NGO dedicated to work addressing all issues related to childhood, ranging from children's advertising (which they oppose and fight to ban) and childhood obesity to children with special needs and essential early childhood care. The Institute's activities include documentaries (such as Way Beyond Weight, White Label, and The Beginning of Life, among others) and various publications on these topics.
