
Out of a total of 576 submissions, the 2023 FAD Awards have announced the list of finalist and selected projects, which will be on display from October 5, 2023, to January 7, 2024, during the exhibition "The Best Design of the Year" at the Disseny Hub Barcelona.
Marking the 65th edition of the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design, this year's jury was chaired by Francesc Rifé, with jury members Xavier Delgado, Carme Fiol, Uriel Fogué, Patrícia Santos Pedrosa, and Jelena Prokopljević. The jury highlighted research and innovation in residential programming across numerous projects, spanning from typologies to construction systems and materiality, aimed at addressing diverse and increasingly shifting ways of living.
Meanwhile, the jury for the FAD Awards for Thought and Criticism, which honors the best architectural writing published throughout 2022, comprised Anna Martínez Duran as chair, alongside jury members Rafael Gómez-Moriana and Lluís Alexandre Casanovas Blanco. For the International FAD Awards, the jury was chaired by Joan Roig, alongside jury members Olga Felip and José Zabala. They selected 6 finalist and 6 selected projects, featuring works in Taiwan, Peru, Italy, France, and the United States, among others.
