Anna Heringer, a visionary and award-winning architect, grew up in Laufen, a small town on the Austrian-German border near Salzburg. At the age of 19, she lived in Bangladesh for nearly a year, where she discovered sustainable development through the NGO Dipshikha. Eight years later, in 2005, she began translating this philosophy into the field of architecture, championing the use of vernacular materials and techniques to support local economies and foster ecological balance.

The exhibition offers a journey through the main projects completed by Anna Heringer since 2006, complemented by texts (such as the Laufen Manifesto, initiated by the architect herself), photographs, drawings, and models. In addition, the presentation of the projects is enhanced by textile pieces created by Bangladeshi women that replicate the floor plans and elevations of her buildings.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue—the most comprehensive on her work to date—published by the Fundación ICO in collaboration with Arquitectura Viva, which compiles the main projects developed over 16 years from her studio in Laufen. Additionally, the exhibition includes a space where visitors can purchase various textile products woven by women in Rudrapur (Bangladesh), made possible through "Dipdii Textiles," a collective initiative of Anna Heringer, Veronika Lena Lang, and DIPSHIKHA.
