For the third time since its founding in 2002, Colombia will host the Latin American Social Workshop for Architecture Students under the name 'Tejiendo Paisajes: TSL Manizales 2022'—the first edition of the event since the onset of the pandemic.
Organized by the Latin American Coordinator of Architecture Students (CLEA Latinoamérica) alongside CESCA, the Latin American Social Workshop will bring together architecture students and young architects from across Latin America to analyze, design, and build public facilities through five workshops based in four communities across Manizales.
This edition of the TSL will be academically backed by the Manizales campus of the National University of Colombia and the Colombian Society of Architects. As the organizers explained in a press release published this week, they aim to "connect the socio-spatial fabric of the city of Manizales, [strengthening] identities, artistic expressions, and collective memories."
The TSL Manizales will take place from Saturday, April 9, to Thursday, April 21, 2022.
