Through elements that once served a functional purpose in architecture—such as door frames, scaffolding, wheelbarrows, planters, or chairs—Colombian artist Sebastián Dávila assigns them a sculptural use, transmuting this obsolescence into the foundation for creating new scaled spatialities in cast concrete.
