For the 40th edition of BBConstrumat at Fira de Barcelona, Spanish architect Josep Ferrando shared exclusively with ArchDaily the details and design principles behind the 3,000 m2 of common spaces at Spain's leading construction trade fair.

In line with the focus on reuse and sustainability proposed for this edition of BBConstrumat, Ferrando and his team worked exclusively with geotextiles, catenaries, and beams borrowed from the construction of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, guided by the principles of the circular economy, monumentality, and construction didactics.
