This year, we invite our readers once again to participate in the 2018 ArchDaily China Building of the Year Awards. By casting an unbiased vote free of geographical restrictions, you become part of a collective jury, identifying the architecture that best represents our time. Over the next three weeks, your nominations will narrow down over 300 Chinese projects to 10 finalists, before a final round of voting determines the three winning designs.

The Process
Over the next week, you will nominate projects for the shortlist and later vote for the winners. We will guide you through each stage. During the nomination phase, registered users can nominate their favorite project once per day through the My ArchDaily platform (eligible projects must have been published between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2017). This phase runs from March 5 to March 19 at midnight (Beijing Time). Following this, the 10 most-nominated projects will advance to the voting stage, which runs from March 20 to March 27 at midnight. The final winners of the China Building of the Year Awards will be announced on March 28, 2018.

Eligible Projects
- All completed projects located in China (including Hong Kong and Macau) and published on ArchDaily between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2017, are eligible.
- By submitting works published on ArchDaily China, offices agree to participate in the awards and allow their submitted materials to be used for promotional purposes.
- All copyright and intellectual property rights belong to the respective offices and architects listed in the project information.
Stage 1 – Nominations
- Starting March 5, 2018, users can nominate their favorite projects through the My ArchDaily platform. Nominations close on March 19, 2018, at midnight (Beijing Time).
- The 10 projects with the most nominations (across all categories) will advance to the voting stage.
Stage 2 – Voting
- On March 20, 2018, the voting page will be updated with the finalists, allowing registered users to vote for their favorite project.
- Users may cast one vote among the 10 finalists. Voting closes on March 27, 2018, at midnight.
- The three projects with the most votes will be announced as the winners on the ArchDaily China homepage on March 28, 2018.

- Only registered My ArchDaily users can nominate and vote.
- Anyone can register on the My ArchDaily platform to participate. To do so, follow the registration link and complete the required steps, or log in with your existing My ArchDaily account.
- A valid email address is required for registration. Votes from invalid email addresses will be removed.
- During each stage, users can nominate or vote for only one project per day.
