“Adonde vas Chiloé” is a platform created by the Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile. Conceived as a space for impartial, timely information focused on the local territory and its culture, the initiative has evolved over its three years as a radio program. Today, it serves as a platform to promote and showcase architectural work across the Chiloé Archipelago, aiming to establish itself as a national benchmark for professional association initiatives and a specialized medium for architecture, culture, and territorial development initiatives.
Through this platform, the local chapter has been able to promote its main initiatives and activities, such as the Ensamble Award, the Chilote Heritage Architecture Award, and technical discussion forums. Today, through the Corporación de Estudios Urbanos y Arquitectónicos de Chiloé—comprising 18 architects from the chapter—the group aims to secure and manage resources to strengthen these initiatives, which seek to highlight context-appropriate architectural interventions through an inclusive lens, featuring voices ranging from young, experimental designers to long-established, renowned figures.
