The lightness of the elements used to construct the installation reveals how light, wind, and even time influence our perception of the spaces we inhabit daily.
The structures of the installation consist of twelve 3.2-meter-high modules, each with a 1.7 m2 platform at the base. A series of 2.7-meter-diameter rings are suspended above each module, defining a delicate boundary composed of a translucent, tubular veil.
Much like the skylights designed by Borchers for the Copelec building, these elevated rings interact with the transmission and modification of light perception.
Each intervention site will feature a unique arrangement of these modules, generating different spatial configurations. The installation will remain in place for about six hours each day, making it one of the most fleeting installations created by the studio to date.
