Through a program of exhibitions, lectures, and activities, the Fundació Enric Miralles, with the support of the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia, will promote a tribute to the Spanish architect Enric Miralles. Considered one of the most iconic figures of contemporary Catalan architecture, the tribute addresses his various facets as a creator—architect, designer, photographer, and professor—offering a multifaceted and personal look at his career.

The activities of the "MIRALLES" cycle are curated by Benedetta Tagliabue (Miralles Tagliabue EMBT) and Joan Roig i Duran (Batlle i Roig), and organized by the Fundació Enric Miralles with the support of the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia through their Departments of the Presidency, Culture, and Territory and Sustainability, in collaboration with the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura (ETSAB), the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC), and the architecture firm Miralles Tagliabue EMBT. The tribute seeks to disseminate the legacy the architect left behind, with his built works in Barcelona—the city where he lived and worked—, Catalonia, and the rest of the world.

The program extends across representative spaces in the city of Barcelona, starting with the Saló del Tinell, which is the venue for the exhibition on Miralles the architect and was chosen for having hosted the first retrospective of another illustrious architect of the city, Antoni Gaudí, in 1956. The other equally iconic venues for the activities will be the Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica of the Government of Catalonia, the Disseny Hub of the Barcelona City Council, the Col·legi Oficial d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC), the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB), and the Fundació Enric Miralles.
