The Master’s Program in Territorial Planning and Urban Planning (MOTPU IV), from the Faculty of Architecture, Arts, Design, and Urbanism at the Higher University of San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia, presents the seminar: "Conceptual and Empirical Contributions to the Optimal Location of Collective Facilities or Services in Urban Spaces."
The seminar will be led by PhD Mirta Liliana Ramirez, who holds a doctorate from the University of Alcalá (Doctoral Program in Cartography, Geographic Information Systems, and Remote Sensing) and a research qualification from the same institution. She is a graduate in Geography from the National University of the Northeast, a professor of geography, an independent researcher at CONICET, and director of the R&D project "Spatial Configuration of Chaco and Formosa: Social, Environmental, and Territorial Inequalities, Asymmetries, and Inequities from a Geographic Perspective." She is also a researcher for the R&D project "Patterns of Population (In)accessibility to Public Services in Metropolitan Areas and Intermediate Cities of the NEA Region."
