Seminar "Architecture: Personal Comfort, Well-being, and Diversity" / UBB

The seminar "Architecture: Personal Comfort, Well-being, and Diversity" aims to examine comfort, health, and well-being in architecture as the primary purpose of built environment design, acknowledging human diversity and moving toward new definitions of environmental comfort and spatial functionality.

The event features presentations from researchers across various disciplines: Dr. Paula Soto Villagrán of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Mexico) on gender in urban and residential life; Dr. Magaly Mella of CETI-UBB and Lonko Pascual Levi Curriao on intercultural dialogues; Dr. Mariela Gaete of INVI-U de Chile on housing for people with disabilities and the elderly; and Architect Henry Bauer of the Laboratorio Ciudadano de Independencia on workplaces for Santiago's communes. The program also includes Dr. Paulina Wegertseder from the Department of Design and Architectural Theory at the University of Bío-Bío.
