South of the World Triennial 2021: "Human Cities"

Creating a space for debate regarding the challenges of intermediate cities, their sustainable development, and the improvement of their inhabitants' living conditions is the primary goal of the Trienal Sur del Mundo, which will take place from November 26 to December 4 in the city of Concepción, Chile.

Promoted by the Concepción chapter of the Architects' Association, with the support of the Schools of Architecture at the Universidad del Bío-Bío, Universidad de Concepción, Universidad del Desarrollo, and the Universidad San Sebastián, this event is part of a FONDART project awarded by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage, focused on fostering the construction of people-centered cities. Consequently, a series of activities and dialogues have been developed to consolidate various reflections on the theme of this year's edition: Human Cities.
