CEAC: "The Work of Others" Series / Ricardo Fernández Rojas

As part of the series of public activities organized by the Center for Contemporary Architecture Studies (CEAC) at the School of Architecture and Urban Studies (EAEU) of Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT), architect Ricardo Fernández Rojas will deliver a lecture on Thursday, March 17, introduced by Martín Torrado. Like other past and upcoming lectures, this series, titled "The Work of Others," is a program of free, in-person activities that require prior registration.

Ricardo Fernández Rojas is an architect who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires and is a doctoral candidate with research proficiency from the Department of Architectural Projects at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB). He practiced in the private sector until 2015. In 2016, he joined the General Directorate of Architectural Projects (DGPAR) of the Buenos Aires City Government (GCBA), where he served as coordinator, then as project manager, and has held the position of general director since 2020.

He has been a regular adjunct professor of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA), a tenured professor of Projects at the University of Belgrano, an associate professor of History and Project Materials at the University of Flores, and a visiting professor in the Master’s program in Architectural Projects at the National University of La Plata. Additionally, he was a staff member of Moderna Buenos Aires (CPAU), editor of "Urban Plans and Projects, 1925-1980," and author of the "Guide to the Cultural Heritage of Buenos Aires, Modern Architecture 1930-1960." Together with Adamo Faiden, he co-directed the postgraduate program Workshop on Project Technique Updates at FADU-UBA.
