In 2017, the Architects' Associations of Bolivia and Peru held the 1st Binational Congress of Architects Peru-Bolivia: "Integrated Territories for Urban Sustainability and Good Living" in the city of Puno, Peru. The results focused on establishing common concepts for debate in both countries regarding the conditions for articulating binational projects, urban systems, and environmental factors—topics that strengthen our geographic position within the Latin American context.
This year, the Binational Meeting of Architects Bolivia–Peru will take place in La Paz, Bolivia, on May 16 and 17, 2019. This event is one of the most significant in the region, with the goal that the final outcomes will serve as input for the formulation of public policies applicable to the architectural and territorial spheres through a final declaration.
