XXVI ELEA Sur unveils the theme for its upcoming edition: Inhabiting Heritage

The Latin American Architecture Students Meeting of the Southern Cone (ELEA Sur) has been organized annually since 1990 in a different location across Latin America. This year, it will take place in the city of Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, under the theme "Inhabiting Heritage."

For one week, 1,500 students will gather at a site called "ELEA City," which is constructed ephemerally by the students themselves. The event serves as a platform for collective participation, Latin American integration, and peer-to-peer learning among students from all participating countries.

The program will feature cultural activities, teamwork, and proactive initiatives aimed at contributing to Colonia in return for what the city teaches us. Furthermore, there will be presentations, lectures, and exhibitions that promote integration and the exchange of experiences and knowledge among students from across the region.
