Trenzando, an itinerant cultural center that travels along railway lines to visit isolated communities, invites architects, students, and interdisciplinary teams to participate in the "Railway Station Rehabilitation / Red Trenzando" architecture ideas competition. The initiative seeks to promote the rehabilitation of railway architectural heritage in four Chilean locations: Rungue (RM), Ocoa (Valparaíso Region), Yumbel, and San Rosendo (Biobío Region).
By generating proposals that highlight the potential of railway heritage for the benefit of the local community, the goal is to lay the groundwork for future project development.
This architecture ideas competition is part of a collaborative process between Trenzando, community organizations, and public and private institutions linked to the participating locations.
