From May 7 to June 25, the National Fund for the Arts (FNA) is opening the call for entries for its 2019 Architecture Award, aimed at young architects who provide creative and effective design solutions for cultural spaces.
With the goal of recognizing, encouraging, and promoting the work of architects who have graduated within the last fifteen years, a second edition of the "Architecture Award" competition has been launched. It seeks to highlight and showcase projects dedicated to cultural spaces, whether they are community-based, private, or public, including museums, theaters, auditoriums, concert halls, art galleries, radio studios, cinemas, libraries, bookstores, art workshops, production studios, or rehearsal spaces. Submissions of ephemeral architecture designed to house or communicate cultural projects, such as stands, fairs, or exhibition spaces, are also welcome. The jury will place special emphasis on concepts related to flexibility, sustainability, adaptability, functionality, and inclusion.
