CHURU is a collection of mobile architectural experiences, where each edition consists of an expedition, workshops, and a final publication that compiles the artistic works of the travelers who document the journey.
Our next edition, Japan in Autumn 2026, will take place in Tokyo, Kanazawa, Shirakawa, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, and Awaji from October 15 to November 2, serving as a space where architects, students, artists, and designers visit landscapes, buildings, and temples that we have carefully selected to explore Japanese architecture in a meaningful way. Throughout the trip, the group will participate in workshops with architecture firms to foster intercultural dialogue and deepen the participants' connection to the local culture.
